Because OTGV's products and services differ from the conventional approach there are always questions about everything from what are the features to how does it work. Q 1) What is the cost of the product?

A 1) OTGV does not sell product directly to the public. Because of that there is only a suggested retail price which can be quoted here. That suggested retail price is $190 (US) however some vender may discount or raise the price of the product.

Q 2) What functions does the product perform?.

A 2) The Flip Down is basically an in vehicle computer which has the capability to do anything that your desk top computer can do. That means that you can surf the web, display road maps (navigation), play you videos, play your MPEG files and much more. .

Q 3) Can I use the Flip Down as a regular computer?

A 3) The Flip Down is a computer and with the plug in key board option you can enter information just as if you were at your key board at home. The plug in keyboard option has a built in track ball mouse to provide the complete computer experience in your vehicle..

Q 4) Can I use the Flip Down to play my MPEG tunes?.

A 4) The Flip Down can play your MPEG's through the built in speaker or cabled into your car system for a full rich audio experience..

Q 5) My car gets hot and cold. Can the Flip Down take the weather?

A 5) All new cars have multiple computer systems built in and they function in all weather. The Flip Down functions just as well in all weather conditions..

Q 6) Can I get regular TV shows on the Flip Down?

A 6) The Flip Down can be used with numerous services and has most every type of TV channels available..

Q 7) How does the Flip Down get to the Internet? Does it require a WIFI hot spot?

A 7) The Flip Down does not require a WIFI hot spot. The Flip Down uses cellular data channels. The now famous slap commercial where the one cowboy slaps the other to indicate how fast their data network is. It is a data network like that which provides the information to the Flip Down.

Q 8) Can the Flip Down be used out of the vehicle?

A 8) The Flip Down can be taken out of the vehicle and used any where with the AC power adapter or with the optional battery pack.

Q 9) Is Flip Down legal in the vehicle?

A 9) Yes the Flip Down can be mounted in any vehicle however various laws apply to the use while operating the vehicle. In all cases OTGV asks that you stop you vehicle to view videos or surf the web. Using the navigation system while operating the vehicle is still allowed in all states. Please check your local laws and use your best judgement when using the Flip Down.

Q 10) Can I use my MPEG player with the Flip Down.

A 10) Yes through the USB port you can use any MPEG player which supports USB connectivity. On the Flip Down the MPEG will appear as a drive letter.

Q 11) Does the Flip Down come in other colors.

A 11) No currently the Flip Down is only available in a neutral black color.

Q 12) What is the Internet coverage area.

A 12) As you might expect, it is different with every carrier you use to provide the accual Internet service however most carriers provide coverage to at least 90% of the United States.
